Safety tips

Your Emergency Plan

GROUP OF 3 PEOPLE

It is recommended, when hiking, to form a group of three people. In the event of an accident, one person can stay with the victim while the other can go for help by going to the nearest road.

CELL PHONE

Cellular use is not always possible in several sections of the trail. However, reception may be better at the top of the mountains. In an emergency, you can try to reach a road or, if you have a cell phone, to climb to the top of a mountain. In both cases, note the location of the victim using the 9-1-1 tags. This will help the emergency services to orient themselves.
